Governors Cottage – 4 Bedrooms
This cottage was once the family summer home of Frederick G. Payne a former Governor of Maine. Payne was born in 1904 in Lewiston and also served as a Mayor of Augusta, as well as a US Senator. Howard Hughes was his primary financier. In addition to his political public service, he served as a Captain in the Air Force during World War II. This cottage includes:
* Cottage has a full kitchen, with microwave oven, stove, sink, coffee maker and refrigerator.
* Cottage has cable television.
* Cottage is partially air-conditioned and has heat.
* One full bathroom, one half bath
* Cottage is rented by the week (Saturday – Saturday).

Reservation Information

Cottages have partial air conditioning, but do not have heat.
Reservations require an advance deposit of 30% of the total (payable by credit card, or money order) at the time the reservation is made. Full payment is due on arrival. No personal checks accepted at time of check in. All rooms must have a valid credit card on file (debit cards not accepted).
All rates are subject to the current 9% Maine Lodging Tax. Rates are subject to change.
